Jim was The spirit of Rose-Noëlle book the cook for the crew and while his account is a good read, I thought John's account was better due to his having built the Rose-Noelle and his first hand knowledge of sailing it.
Both books are good and I enjoyed reading both of them and analyzing what happened. But if you only read one book, you should pick Glennie's book/5(7).
